Located on the first upper floor of a well-kept period building, the apartment offers space for up to four adults. Children get their own area with a built-in loft bed that is not only practical but also sparks the imagination. Through the large windows you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Klosterplatz and St John’s Church. Quietly situated and yet right in the middle of it all.

Our little guests are especially close to our hearts. That’s why the apartment is child-friendly from the very start. A high chair is ready so even the smallest ones can sit comfortably at the table. For babies and toddlers there is a permanently set-up bed that needs no rearranging.
In the bathroom, a toilet seat reducer makes for a relaxed loo experience. A step stool helps little ones reach the sink comfortably.
And the absolute highlight? Our cosy cuddle den, a lovingly designed loft bed with sleeping spots for children. Here little adventurers feel completely at ease and already look forward to bedtime.

The historic old town begins right outside the door, with its little lanes, the timber-framed Umgebinde houses and countless cafés. The famous Lenten Veil, the market square, cosy restaurants and the Zittau narrow-gauge railway – everything is within walking distance. Despite the central location, it stays pleasantly quiet. Perfect for relaxing hours after an eventful day.

From 1 May 2025, the town of Zittau charges a visitor’s tax of 2,90 € per night for adults (aged 15 and over) and 1,45 € per night for children and teenagers between 6 and 14 years. Since our holiday apartment uses a fully automated booking system, the visitor’s tax is already included in the total price.

We love animals and have dogs ourselves. Pets are possible with us upon prior request. Please send us a short note about your animal before booking. Only after our confirmation is bringing them along permitted. Other pets are possible on request. We review each request individually and tell you the price in advance. If pet hair or soiling is found on beds or sofas after the stay, we will charge an additional cleaning fee of at least 50 €. The condition is documented objectively on site. Please send requests to

Damage to the property
If you cause damage during your stay, it can be charged retrospectively at up to 100 € under our damage policy.
For larger or obvious damage (e.g. a wet mattress, broken furnishings, heavy soiling) the following applies:
- Please report the damage to us immediately so we can react quickly and prevent further damage.
- If damage is only discovered after your departure, we reserve the right to invoice it retrospectively.
- Unreported damage is considered gross negligence and can be invoiced in full.
